BAMS Course Overview

BAMS = Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery.
It is a professional undergraduate medical degree in Ayurveda, regulated in India by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine. The curriculum and induction structure are published by NCISM/Ministry of AYUSH.

Duration

• 5.5 years total
  • 4.5 years academic study
  • 1 year compulsory internship

Eligibility

Usually you need:

• 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology
• NEET-UG qualification for admission in India (most colleges)
